Physical therapist Assistant helps patient(s) accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities as well as applying assistive and supportive quality care. PTA will assess and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation by physician(s). PTA will document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program.
Candidates must possess in-state licensure
1 year of home health experience as a physical therapist Assistant
Candidates must possess strong caring interpersonal skills
