Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA - Full Time

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in College Station. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients recovering at home.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide quality care to help patients achieve their maximum functional level, focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions. Implement treatment plans by administering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises and activities. Encourage and assist patients in ambulatory and daily-living activities, applying assistive and supportive care as needed. Assess and interpret evaluations and test results, collaborating with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans. Document patient care services in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring adherence to legal and professional standards. Conduct follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients and maintain eligibility for home health services. Provide maintenance therapy as required. Driving to patient locations is a requirement.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Possession of in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Minimum of one year of experience in home health as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
