**Overview** St. Lukes Health–The Vintage Hospital provides high-quality compassionate care for residents of the Willowbrook Champions and Tomball areas of Northwest Houston. The Vintage Hospital offers the latest in diagnostic and surgical expertise including heart care women’s health and orthopedics. **Responsibilities** Performs components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist; assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. 1. Administers therapeutic exercises and physical therapy modalities according to the physical therapy plan of care 2. Instructs, motivates and Assists patients to learn and improve functional activity, such as pre‐ambulation, transfer, ambulation and daily living activities 3. Observes patients during treatments, Assesses, and compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments and progress and reports verbally or in writing to the physical therapist; may communicate updates to physicians 4. Fit patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs 5. May perform clerical duties **Qualifications** Required: *Associate’s Degree from an approved program for Physical Therapist Assistants *Current Texas State Licensure (PTA) *CPR/BLS certification *Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered **Pay Range** $22.79 - $31.33 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
