Overview Multiple Sign On Bonus Options! $5,000 -1 year work commitment $10,000 - 2 year work commitment $20,000 - 3 year work commitment (Internal Mission Partners not eligible) Our small but mighty and fun rehab team consists of 2 physical therapists, 1 occupational therapist, 1 physical therapy assistant, 1 cardiac rehab nurse, 1 exercise specialist and 1 patient access service representative. This team specializes in seeing a variety of patients in our quaint critical access hospital in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Some patient populations include, but are not limited to: geriatrics, orthopedics (both post operative and non-surgical), neurological diagnoses, lymphedema and cardiac rehab post cardiopulmonary events and procedures. This team has over 100 years of experience! OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary. OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, assists in administering the Physical Therapists' treatment plan. Administers and monitors patient's response to therapeutic exercises, transfer training, gait training, and other treatments in accordance with the physical therapists treatment plan. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Licensure/Certifications: State license as Physical Therapist Assistant CPR certification within 90 days of hire Skills/knowledge: Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to identify and report changes in patient's condition to a physical therapist. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
