**Overview**
The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) provides direct patient care support under the supervision of a licensed PT/OT or PTA/COTA (as allowable per state statutes), as well as prioritized administrative support to ensure seamless clinic workflow and operations. Within the clinic, this role enables licensed clinical staff to focus on patient care and treatment; thereby improving their efficiency and productivity. The role is optimized across the district, providing flexibility for Clinic Operations to mitigate predictable volume fluctuations (e.g. due to seasonality). Job Summary Entry point into role, requires high degree of supervision and instruction by clinical staff Core Duties
* Provides patient care support under direct supervision and prescription by licensed clinician, including exercise set up/adjustment, instruction and monitoring; providing prescribed Home Exercise Program (HEP) and set up/delivery of clinical modalities
* Provides flexible coverage across the district
* Manages and facilitates patient scheduling, intake, check in processes;
* Facilitates effective ISE conversion across the district coverage pod, advising directly with the CD
* Responsible for point of service (e.g. copay) collection
* Maintains clinic cleanliness aligned with protocols
* Keeps clinic stocked appropriately with needed supplies

Minimum Education Required Associates Degree in related field; or High School diploma and 2 or more years as a PT aide or technician, or 2 or more years in sports performance/training Preferred Health care or core sciences Min Experience Required: None Preferred: Previous experience in a physical therapy outpatient setting Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge/experience in exercise form/instruction Strong customer service skills and communication skillsMust be mobile in-market Licenses and Certifications:Required: None
