Responsibilities Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment proceduresEducate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical TherapistParticipate in ongoing program evaluation and developmentMaintain thorough and timely documentation of all care providedMaintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of EthicsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associates degree from an accredited college or university requiredCurrent license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas requiredMust pass all pre-employment and employment verifications About our Line of Business Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, provides evidence-based physical, occupational, speech/language and neurocognitive therapies, as well as vocational rehabilitation, to advance and accelerate patient recovery – helping individuals suffering from an acquired brain injury return to the highest quality of life possible.
