Requirements:
Associate's degree from an accredited programLicensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of New Mexico Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.About the Job:
Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Typically reports to a physical therapist.Performs a variety of tasks.A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.We know it’s not just about finding a job.
