Acute Rehab Unit is based in the newly renovated Trinity Health Muskegon hospital that includes 24 private patient rooms, a state of the art therapy gym, and completely functional simulated home space!
Position Summary:
The physical therapist assistant assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by the plan of care established by a physical therapist and in accordance with the State of Michigan Public Health Code Act 368 of 1978, in addition to established facility and departmental policies and procedures. The physical therapist assistant works cooperatively with the patient’s team personnel in maintaining standards of professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork to maintaining the highest degree of quality care.
