Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL physical therapy center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences.

 

This role will be working alongside Kevin Wilk, PT, FAPTA as part of a Sports Medicine Mini- Fellowship Training!

Position length: 6 month Fellowship Training

Hours: Full time hours

Compensation: $28,000 for the 6 month fellowship

 

 

 

Responsibilities Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care.Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.In states where permitted: document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapyMust have outpatient physical therapy experience or outpatient clinical rotation experience in lieu of outpatient experience Must be passionate about Sports Medicine please list on resume experiences related to Sports MedicineValid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to startAbility to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patientsCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
