NaphCare is hiring an experienced Physical Therapist like you at the Lewis Correctional Facility located in Buckeye, Arizona. 

 

Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! 

 

Pay rates range from $53.00-$65.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.  PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Physical Therapist:

 

Work cohesively with the HSA, DON and RN(s) in the coordination of the physical therapy delivery system, as well as other functions within the facilityUse all functions and applications of TechCareTM relevant to the position with no supervision, and assist with staff training as requestedCommunicate effectively with clients, peers, and employees at all levels within the organization. Maintain clear lines of communication throughout issue-resolution processesDemonstrate personal performance based on professional practice standards, relevant statutes, rules and regulations and organizational criteriaProvide physical therapy treatments and proceduresDevelopment of treatment plansDocument progress of all treatment renderedPrepare all treatment areas and equipment for usePerform postural drainage, percussions and vibrations, and teach deep breathing exercises to treat respiratory conditionsInstruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients as they practice exercises and functional activitiesConfer with healthcare staff and others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatmentAdminister active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, and heat, light, sound, water, and modality treatments, as requiredObserve patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on patients’ responses and progress, and reportMeasure patients’ range of motion, body parts, and vital signs to determine the effects of treatment or for patient evaluationsSecure patients into or onto therapy equipmentFit and train patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutchesAssist with transport of patients to and from the treatment areaClean and check work area and equipment after each treatmentAssist patients with hygiene and daily living activities as needed Qualifications

Qualifications for Physical Therapist:

Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in ArizonaA valid CPR cardA minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
