Position Summary: We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to replace a PT that is retiring. We are looking for someone that wants to provide a positive and encouraging environment while providing therapy to patients. Essential Job Functions: Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs Offer effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects, monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services
Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program Current Physical Therapy Licensure through the State of Utah, -OR- Temporary license if new graduate awaiting licensing exam results Proven work experience as a physical therapist Intensive education and clinical expertise Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Physical Therapy License (Required) CPR Certification (Required)
Hours: Our office is open Monday - Friday 7am to 6pm. The therapists do work 4, 10hr days.
Additional Notes: Once we find a stellar PT and make an offer, we will want to make sure the therapist is fully credentialed prior to starting in the office. This process can take up to 3 months to complete with the insurances.
