Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience.

Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists is a premier private practice in the field of sports medicine and orthopedic injury rehabilitation. For over 25 years, we have been providing exceptional care to the Southeastern Michigan communities, with our patients’ results being unmatched. Our diverse staff includes orthopedic clinical specialists (OCS), certified MDT therapists, GIFT Fellows in Applied Functional Science (FAFS), certified hand therapists, pelvic rehabilitation practitioners, and certified lymphedema therapists.
One of Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists' (PPTS) specialty programs is the Michigan Pelvic Health Institute (MPHI). MPHI focuses on pelvic health but includes lymphedema treatment and management of the upper and lower extremities, head, neck, face, and genitals. We strive to provide quality care in accordance with Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) guidelines. We are in search of a dynamic and proficient Lymphedema Physical/Occupational Therapist to join our expanding program. You should demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong passion for excelling in lymphedema treatment. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to evaluate, administer, and oversee evidence-based occupational or physical therapy services for individuals with Lymphedema.
Responsibilities
Implements an individualized treatment plan using skilled therapy techniques, including therapeutic activities, manual techniques, activities of daily living training, and modalities as indicated.Maintains accurate and current documentation in the patient’s medical record as required by the profession and the department, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, updated individualized treatment plans, progress reports, discharge summaries, and daily patient charges.Confers with the physician to clarify the treatment plan and discuss patient status when indicated. Consult with appropriate medical personnel regarding the patient's needs, status, and discharge plans.Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Physical/Occupational Therapy program.Current state of Michigan license or eligible CPR certification.Completed continuing education program for Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)Bilingual (English & Spanish) abilities are a plus.Possesses basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Database software, and MS Office
