Overview We are looking for a highly-trained Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team with experience in management of Neurological outpatient caseload. Experience with managing patients with Neurological disorders including CVA, PD, MS, SCI, TBI, CP, vestibular disorders, and balance disorders. Physical Therapist will also have ability to examine and evaluate patients and develop a comprehensive treatment program designed to address the unique needs of each individual patient. The physical therapist will show ability to develop effective treatment plans appropriate for and measuring progress, modifying treatment plans and educating the patient to produce optimal outcomes. Qualifications Age of Patients Served:All Age Groups.Required Education:Bachelor's Degree. Specific course work: Physical Therapy preferredNecessary Skills:1. Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment. 2. Good communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving.3. Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of patients. 4. Ability to assess and implement a treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses. 5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.Required Licensure/Certifications:Current Florida Physical Therapy license.BLS from the American Heart AssociationPreferred Experience:Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.Preferred Education:Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical TherapyRequired Experience:Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute, outpatient, etc.)
