**Job Title:** Physical Therapist – **Lymphedema** Part-Time
**GENERAL SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:**
Assesses, plans, and implements specific physical therapy treatment programs for individual patients. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Supervises work of support personnel.
**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Idaho.
+ Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
+ Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferred
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable).
+ Evaluates, records, and reports on patients progress for review by other members of the rehabilitative team.
+ Develops and implements treatment plans.
+ Provides direct patient care and coordination of all patient care modalities and activities in all clinical service areas.
+ Provides direct and indirect supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants & Therapy Aides.
+ Provides education to patients & family members to ensure follow-through of treatment program.
+ Conducts and participates in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
+ Communicates effectively with physician and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
+ Completes all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
+ Participates in continuing education program to ensure appropriate units are attained for maintenance of State Licensure.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
