**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Assessment & Treatment** : Conduct thorough evaluations of children’s physical abilities, assessing motor skills, strength, coordination, and mobility. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
+ **Therapy Services** : Provide age-appropriate therapeutic exercises, interventions, and physical rehabilitation to help children achieve their full physical potential.
+ **Collaboration** : Work alongside other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care for children.
+ **Parent/Caregiver Education** : Instruct parents and caregivers on home exercises and techniques to support their child’s development and progress outside of therapy sessions.
+ **Progress Monitoring** : Regularly assess and document each child's progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
+ **Supportive Environment** : Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment that empowers children to succeed and build confidence in their physical abilities.
**Qualifications**
+ **Education** : Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or related degree in physical therapy.
+ **Experience** : Previous experience working as a pediatric physical therapist is preferred, but new graduates with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
+ **Licensure** : State licensure in Arizona as a Physical Therapist (PT).
+ **Skills** : Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, and team members. A compassionate, patient, and energetic approach to working with children.
+ **Transportation** : Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
+ **Background Check** : Successful completion of local or state background checks.
