Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department (Physical Therapy department) in Kansas City, KS is looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in a collaborative environment. As one of our Physical Therapists, you will:
provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neurologic, balance, vertigo and cardiopulmonary disorderswork closely with our physicians and providers to plan treatments to ensure the best possible patient outcomesperform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirementsfunction according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care teambe responsible for: assessing patients and creating and administering treatment plans with a variety of patient conditions including spine, joint, balance, vertigo, neurologic and post-operative orthopedic casesOur clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30a - 6:00p and Friday 7:30a - 3:00p QualificationsEducation and Work Experience:
Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapycurrent state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progresscurrent BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currentone year of orthopedic outpatient experience, preferred; or, new graduates who have clinical experience as a student in the outpatient setting
