BSW Rehab Outpatient at Dallas Carroll Ave is seeking a PRN PT. We are a sports and orthopedic clinic just 5 minutes east of the Dallas Baylor hospital at the corner of Gaston Ave and Carroll Ave in Dallas. We have a strong history of working with local high schools, athletic trainers, and competitive sports programs to optimize continuity of care and a pathway to return to sport. Rehab services include non-operative and post-operative orthopedic care, vestibular and concussion management, treatment of the over-head athlete, and a primary hub for isokinetic testing for our Return-to-Play ACL program. The ideal candidate would be dry needling certified, have strong manual therapy skills, sports/orthopedic training, and have a history of program/relationship building with physicains and referral sources. Training and support of all the above skills is supported by BSWIR Outpatient.

Responsibilities Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessmentPatient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a dayTimely and accurate documentation using Therapy SourceInterpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reportsEnsuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accuratelyPromoting continuous quality improvementInstructing and counseling patients/families as needed

 

Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations. Additional Data
