Responsibilities
St. Mary’s Medical Center (SMMC) is looking for a full time day shift Physical Therapist (PT) to be a part of our growing Acute/Inpatient Rehab Team. As our new Physical Therapist (PT), you will:
provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disordersperform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirementsfunction according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care teamthe culture of our team is second-to-none! Please apply if quality patient care and team cameraderie is your goal - there is truly a spirit of friendship and community on our team!you will obviously perform manual therapy and work in collaboration with other team members to provide proper exercise and physical therapy routines for patientsbe responsible for: back pain, knee pain, stiff neck, sciatica help, arthritis pain relief, appropriate stretches, and morespecifically for our acute inpatient rehab program; also, would cover on acute care in times of fluctuating rehab census
full time, Mon - Fri, 8a - 4:30p, one weekend day/month (comp/flex day to accomodate) QualificationsEducation and Work Experience:
Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapycurrent state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progresscurrent BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currentone year of experience, preferred but not required
