Get to Know Your Team: Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. Responsibilities Position will cover about 50% of the time in an Outpatient setting and 50% in Acute Care. Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition. Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. Provide education to patients, families and staff members as necessary for the attainment of treatment goals. Maintain accurate and timely patient and personal records. Participate in performance improvement process as it relates to departmental, site and network functions. Participate in selection of new team members and assist with peer review of performance as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. May be required to be "on-call." Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree License to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire BLS certification thru American Heart Association Preferred Job Requirements: Master's and/or doctorate degree 2 years’ experience
