**Job Description:**
Physical Therapist responsible for delivering comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, education, and consultation, aimed at enhancing functional abilities and achieving optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for outpatient physical therapy and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. An interest in working within a rural healthcare environment to improve the well-being of diverse patient populations is essential for success in this role.
**Education Qualifications:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide outpatient physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment, patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patients
+ This therapist will primarily provide patient care to an adult population, including orthopedic injury/surgery, neurological conditions, and general medical conditions.
+ Complete all ancillary and administrative tasks for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other related duties.
+ Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism, and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers) and comply with all organization policies.
+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
+ Work closely with Essentia Health management and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
+ Complies with organizational policies and procedures and code of conduct
+ Meets professional organization core values, code of ethics, and scope of practice
+ Optional involvement in weekend coverage at the Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes hospital

**Educational Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degrees from a physical therapy accredited program
