Aspirus Out-Patient Therapies in Wausau, WI is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team!
The Physical Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who has completed on the job training and works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Hours: Full Time or .8 FTE, 32 hours each week working 5 days a week with varied hours
CLINIC HOURS ARE MONDAY - FRIDAY 6:15 AM - 6:45 PM, SCHEDULE TO VARY, NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYSExperience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices in a physical therapy setting normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, on the job training of complex technical duties, and a clear demonstration of competence at performing Physical Therapy Aide duties.Previous applicable experience beneficial.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireA history of school and work performance that gives evidence of ability to meet the job requirements beneficial.
