Physical Therapist Assistant PRN

This is a Per Diem (as needed) position working in our freestanding Inpatient Rehab unit at NW Transitions on 2025 W. Orange Grove Road. 

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, at Northwest Medical Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited program and licensure as a physical therapist assistant, bachelors degree preferred. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rehab experience preferred. Current AZ license CPR Certification

About the Job: 

We are looking to add a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to our dedicated, experienced team of therapists at Northwest Transitions. Northwest Transitions is a  beautiful new 30 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in front of Northwest Medical Center. We focus on treating our patients individually and limit groups and concurrent treatments.. Our Inpatient Rehab Facility at Northwest Medical Center has scored in the top 10% of Rehabilitation hospitals in the nation for 3 years. We are currently seeking both weekday and weekend Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistants. 

Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physical therapist.
