Responsible for assisting therapists in clinical and non-clinical tasks and tasks to support clinic operations. Responsible for tasks as scheduled and assigned by therapist/supervisor. Incumbents are subject to overtime.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists therapists with patient treatments by preparing treatment area, providing supplies and/or equipment needed for therapist to perform treatment, physically assisting therapist with activities, and transporting patients to and from treatment areas.
Performs non-clinical tasks as assigned by therapists or supervisor and performs basic reception and administrative duties as needed.
Assists in maintaining department cleanliness and monitors department inventory of equipment and supplies, notifying appropriate personnel of shortages and needed replacements.
Responsible for assisting with aquatic therapy at off-site location as needed. Cleans treatment areas and equipment.
Performs related responsibilities as assigned or directed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write, perform simple mathematical calculations
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:
CPR Certification within 90 days of employment.
EXPERIENCE:
Ability to perform routine procedures as directed by therapists and knowledge of center’s policies and procedures as acquired 2-3 months of orientation and on-the-job training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to manage and perform office procedures efficiently if needed
Meet requirements for staff working with DIDD clients
