OCHSNER HEALTH BATON ROUGE – DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge currently has a FULL-TIME opportunity for an INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join its busy practice.  Our group consists of 4 interventional cardiologist, 4 noninterventional cardiologist, 1.5 electrophysiologists, 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 Advanced Practitioners. Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure, TAVR, and vascular surgery. Currently, our physicians cover one hospital. Rotate cath lab days as well as weekly hospital coverage, and nighttime and weekend call. We rotate to 8 different satellite locations for clinical practice.  Each physician rotates to 3 locations for their practice. Our diagnostic department performs EKGs, Holter monitoring(24, 48-hour, 3-14 day and event monitoring up to 30 days), exercise stress tests(regular as well as nuclear), cardiac ultrasound(to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo), vascular ultrasound.  We have an Arrhythmia/device clinic, Cardiac rehab, and Heart failure clinic
