Links: https://eisenhower.tricare.mil/ https://www.augustaga.gov/ **Responsibilities** As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as: + Make independent decisions regarding the medical care required for patients. + Perform clinical evaluations of patients needing medical attention. + Perform outpatient surgical and non-surgical procedures as designated by credentials committee. + Prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice for Physician Assistants. **Qualifications** US Citizenship Required At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients in a Family Practice setting. Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education. Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
