This position is located at The Pain Mangement Clinic Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty, NC.

Responsibilities
As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as:
Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of Pain Management Clinic.Secure a health and medical history from the patient or family member, record findings, and make clinical evaluation for assigned patients.Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.Provide Pain Management care practices and procedures to stabilize chronically ill patients.Prescribe and treat a variety of diseases, disorders, and injuries for patients.Perform physical examinations, special physicals, and other related physical examinations on assigned patients. US Citizenship Required
Pain Management experience preferred but not necessary.
At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients in a Family Practice setting.
Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education.
Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
All Applicants must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
