PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
+ A licensed and credentialed Physician Assistant provides diagnosis, treatment, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, professional consultations and provide direct patient care services and follow-up in collaboration with supervising physicians. The Physician Assistant provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved. Provides consultation and collaboration with providers on a regular and on-going basis.
+ QUALIFICATIONS
+ Professional/Educational
+ Completion of an accredited Master's Degree in Physician Assistant program.
+ Completion of Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). Certification by NCCPA.
+ Current Illinois Physician Assistant License.
+ Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), highly recommended.
+ DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
+ Personal
+ Works effectively with all levels of staffing, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
+ Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
+ Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
+ Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
