Short Description

ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant – Cardio Surgery - Camden, NJ

 

Assume responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patients, staff and patient education, and research. Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings. A valid NJ APN and RN license is required. BLS required. Specialty certification may be required.

Experience Required

Must have 2 years of Cardiac Surgery and OR experience with Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience.

Education Requirements

 Masters - Nurse Practitioner (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA)

 

License/Certification Requirements

License (or Certification): NJ-APN & RN or NJ PA and AHA BLS is required.

Special Requirements

Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time 40 hours weekly
