Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant to the group at South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). South Brooklyn Health accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a full time Physician Assistant to work in our Medicine Department. Daytime schedule
Responsibilities Include:
Attend to patients in the emergency room awaiting beds in the Medicine Inpatient UnitsLiaise with Emergency Medicine and Medicine Department staffPerform history and physical examinations, Order diagnostic tests based on assessmentsDevelop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies as neededConsult with supervising medical provider when appropriate Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant education programCurrent NYS registration as a Physician AssistantCurrent certification issued by the NCCPACultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient populationMust have proven ability to work in a team environmentNew Grads Welcome!Exceptional Benefits Include:
