Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant to the Emergency Medicine group at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi & North Central Bronx. The Hospitals are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

ResponsibilitiesThe Physician Assistant will work full time hours in the Emergency Medicine Department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx.
Performing history and physical examinationsOrdering diagnostic tests based on assessmentsDeveloping treatment plans, prescribing drugs and other therapies as neededMaking referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriateMaintaining patient confidentiality Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree preferred, but other PA degree levels are encouraged to apply.Active NYS Physician Assistant Licensure Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA)BLS/ACLS certified
