MAJOR FUNCTION:

 

This is an exciting opportunity in the Mullica Hill operating room for an experienced or new graduate Physician Assistant. You will work alongside our talented surgeons who perform general, vascular, urology, oncology, orthopedic and reconstructive procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; preparing patients for the OR, coordinating equipment needs and assisting surgeons intraoperatively. We are seeking a team player who has procedural and sterile technique knowledge. 

This position will be three 12-hour shifts per week without call, weekend, or holiday coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of PA and certified for practicing PA in NJ. 

Certification/Licensure:     

Certified for Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current registration with NJ State Board of PA. BLS certification, ACLS preferred. 

Knowledge & Skills:
