Participate in call for second level triage, Monday through Friday 8-5 pm. No evening or weekend callPrimarily remote position with 1 in-person day weeklyAttend initial in-person onboardingManage routine medication refillsCommunicate lab results as appropriateAnswer patient advice requests and patient phone callsManage MyChart messages and requestsReview patient data with Physicians & APPs for proper treatmentDocumentation of patient records and EHRComplete billable services such as but not limited to: E-VisitsParticipate in process improvement initiatives for the Inboxology programOther duties as assignedQualifications:Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program1 year of relevant experience in office practice setting/previous clinical experience in area of speciality Preferred6 months of relevant experience RequiredLIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire - RequiredCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 60 Days - RequiredCorewell Health South is a teaching hospital offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
