Overview:
As our Physician Assistant (PA) in Neurosurgery at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs CO, you will become an integral member of a dedicated team of caregivers committed to delivering high-quality services that exceed the customary standards of practice.
Every day as a Physician Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a critical role in the care of patients with neurological conditions while ensuring that your approach to patient care is rooted in respect and clinical excellence. Your compassionate, patient-centered care approach will allow your patients to feel safe and understood as their emotional and physical needs are met.
To be successful in this role, you will use your medical knowledge to confidently and independently manage patient care while knowing when to consult a physician. You will think critically and make quick decisions in high-pressure environments, by trusting your problem-solving abilities. Your extensive training and experience in Neurosurgery will equip you with the necessary skills to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
+ Demonstrate a dynamic and integrated approach to patient and family care, serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher to drive meaningful outcomes.

+ Play a vital role in a collaborative team, ensuring patients receive the care and support they need to thrive physically and emotionally.
We are offering a signing bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Qualifications:
+ Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
+ Two (2) Years of experience, (ideally in surgery)
+ PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado
+ BLS from the American Heart Association
