GENERAL SUMMARY:

Position is located at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital Grand Blanc, MI

The Specialty/Invasive Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

The Specialty/Invasive PA will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.

 Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.

 Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.

Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.

Works in any of the following departments: Cardiovascular Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pulmonary Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care, Urology.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner -OR- Must be a Masters prepared Physician Assistant who has graduated from an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.  Current ACLS/BLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required.
