Summary Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care - HSHS Medical Group - Springfield, IL HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Priority Care Clinic in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights Well established, Walk-In practice Clinic is open 8am-8pm, 7 days per week Provider will be scheduled 14 shifts per month. 6 Urgent Care providers employed at this location along with multiple PRN providers 7 exam rooms designated to the clinic Monday – Friday with additional rooms available as needed on weekends. Position Requirements Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start Board Certified - if an APRN, must be FNP trained in order to see all ages. 2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required Position Details This provider will be full-time, which requires 14 shifts per month, all shifts are 12 hour shifts. Weekends within the month vary. Holidays rotate throughout the year. Support staff on each shift consist of 1-2 front desk clerks and 2-3 clinical support staff Clinical support staff can be an MA, an RN, an LPN, or a combination of the three. EPIC EMR Compensation & Benefits Package Base salary with bonus earning potential. PTO accrual with each pay period. CME Reimbursement. Sign-on bonus available. Qualifications Education Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred. Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred. Federal DEA license is preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
