surgeon the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN is responsible for performing a variety of dutiesThese duties include but are not limited to first assisting cardiovascular surgical procedures endoscopic vessel harvesting preoperative history and physical examination postoperative care in an outpatient clinical setting and patient educationThe successful candidate will also support patient care from the point of admission to discharge in service Step Down and ICU Duties include managing multiple patients with varied critical illness comprehensive physical assessments interpretation of diagnostic results hemodynamicventilator management and invasive procedures Extensive training and supervision are provided to the Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for skills such as arterial lines central lines chest tubes feeding tubes and removal of pacer wiresPhysician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner APRN Role ScopeIn consultation with the physicians and care
