staffPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN Role ScopeHartford HealthCares Midstate Medical Center is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN to join a very enthusiastic team in the Surgical Services unit The successful candidate will be responsible for various functions including first assisting in the operating room rounding bedside procedures and consults APPs will work in collaboration with a number of surgeons The service currently covers General Robotic Bariatric Thoracic Vascular ENT with some coverage of Orthopedics and Urologymiddot Perform Daily patient rounds and Implement therapeutic interventionmiddot Exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation referral or evaluationmiddot Perform HP and discharge summary for patientsmiddot Ordering diagnostic studies as part of clinical treatment planmiddot First assist surgeon in the ORmiddot Perform and assist with bedside proceduresmiddot Display professional
