ProMedica Physicians Neurology is recruiting a motivated Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established neurology practice in Toledo, Ohio.  The practice has served the Toledo area for many years and has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality, compassionate care.     

Job Description:

Obtains complete histories and performs physical exams, formulation of care plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests and provides education to patients and their families Assists with neurological consults and admissions, and with provider rounding, to include:  writing notes, orders, wound care, etc. Effectively communicates and interacts with patients, families, staff and members of the community from diverse backgrounds Facilitates the coordination of inpatient and outpatient care and services Works in a collaborative team approach, with other health professionals to determine health needs of patients and families Ensures compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations and adheres to the institutional and departmental policies and procedures
