Locations: Hold privileges for all locations, currently, 3 locations in Orlando proper, a 4th location coming soon.

Shift times include a variety of hours as noted below.

However, this position is seeking a primary commitment of closing shifts (3p-7p) on weekdays + Saturdays.  

Regular full shifts are also included

Responsibilities

Performs medical assessment of Center patientsEstablishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for center patientsMaintains clinical core competencyAssures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodiesMeets with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conducts workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments.Regularly calls client representatives upon seeing employee patients for initial injuries and change of duty statusIn the absence of the Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical staff (e.g. physician assistants, nurse practitioners and back/front office staff) to ensure Concentra’s mission is achieved.Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volumeAbility to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction as required for clinical and/or business dutiesUnrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdictionBoard Certification FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (we provide this CME to those not yet certified)Must be able to treat a patient demographic of ages 2 and older, as we do offer full urgent care services to the publicProficiency with treatment of minor injuriesExperienced with minor procedures, such as:  suturing, foreign body removal, i&d, eye irrigation etc Proficiency with interpretation of xray2 + years of related experience  Additional Data 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer MatchColleague Referral Bonus ProgramEmployee Discounts
