**Job Summary**
+ The Physician Assistant is accountable for providing health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physician/Nurse Practitioner.
+ Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
+ Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
+ Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
**Education and/or Experience**
+ Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
+ 6 months to 1 year experience required.
**Licensure/Certification/Registration**
+ Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska.
+ Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. (NCCPA)
+ Federal DEA certification required for Nebraska.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
**Work Schedule**
+ Varied Shifts, this is a Call-Only position; 80 hours every 2 weeks
+ Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:00am-7:00am – 24 hour on-call shifts
+ Fridays: 7:00am-5:00pm on-call shifts
+ 1 in 7 weekends
+ 1 holiday per year
