Physician Assistant - Urgent Care
Overview Fairview Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics. Join our growing practice seeing patients at our eleven urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs. This position will focus primarily on our North and/or East locations but has the potential to practice at other locations. Practice Details: Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers. Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift. Opening(s): 1- flexible FTE from .6 to 1.0- Flexible schedule, working an average every third weekend (more weekend available if desired). No Call required. As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care. Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). BC/BE through NCCPA. Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required). *Additional Qualifications* 2 years of previous Urgent Care, Primary Care, ER, or Hospitalist experience as a Physician Assistant.
