Physician Credentialing/Administrative Assistant

Perform a broad range of clerical, administrative, and analytical duties with varying degrees of scope, complexity, and confidentiality for the executive departments and the CEO.  This includes but not limited to scheduling, data processing, computer support services, delivering and/or picking up material from other sites.  Exercise independent judgment and initiative in establishing Licensed Independent Practitioner’s contracts and initial applications and Physician credentialing files.  Order supplies in compliance with corporation budget.  Work professionally with all level of employees including top management, internal and external to Options.  Develop a variety of business correspondence, technical/specialized reports, graphs, etc.  Maintain both computerized and manual recordkeeping systems.  Process all types of forms/documents assuring completeness/accuracy of information for the CEO.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Office Management (or related field); Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience may be used in lieu of degree. (H.S. minimum education) Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office. Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards for Physician Credentialing Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information to the general public and employees of the organization. Work effectively to communicate goals and objectives, establish trust, build and maintain relationships, and work as a team player to achieve common tasks. Must be flexible and adaptable to support Options business goals – willing to adjust and accept changes in direction, priorities even on short notice. Maintain confidentiality of information at the executive level. Minimum 21 years of age.

Hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, close vision/distance vision and depth perception. Ability to work assigned hours per week. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to reach above, at, or below shoulder height (bend, squat, stoop, twist, and kneel.

Telephone, switchboard paging system, walkie-talkie. Facsimile Machine, Postage Meter, Copy machines. Computer and Microsoft Office Software Package.
