Physician Enterprise Development Coordinator
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** The Physician Enterprise Development Coordinator plans, coordinates, and leads programs that facilitate positive physician, administrative and facility relationships within MercyOne Medical Group. Develops strategies with the goal of maximizing the organizations profits or share of the market while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Coordinate provider relations activities for new and existing providers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Build and nurture strong relationships with referring physicians, medical groups, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to facilitate patient referrals. · Proactively identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral sources to expand our patient base and drive revenue growth. · Collaborate with internal departments, to develop targeted strategies and materials to effectively communicate our services' value proposition to referring physicians and healthcare partners. · Meet with referring physicians regarding new physician introduction, new services, referral methods, patient education materials and other related collateral materials. · Analyzes client demographics to identify new opportunities and enhance market share. · Maximizes the profitable utilization of MercyOne Medical Group’s services by increasing referrals, maximizing referrals from existing referral sources, identifying and developing non-physician referral sources. · Identifies and maintains the required contact frequency with referral sources and their office staff to maintain referral loyalty. · Responds quickly to identify and resolve customer concerns. · Provides administration and key staff relevant market and customer feedback that enhances marketing and business decisions, market plan development, identifying service area needs, maintaining a competitive advantage, customer relations and satisfaction and identifying new referral sources. · Facilitate resolution of physician issues and concerns. · Conducts periodic surveys of referral professionals to assess effectiveness and satisfaction with practice services. · Organize and conduct educational events, seminars, and presentations for referring physicians and their staff to increase awareness of our medical practice's capabilities, specialties, and services. · Monitor and track referral volumes, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPls) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement. · Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians, other hospital departments and others. · Calls on customers to problem solve and solve patient complaints. · Assists in developing new marketing programs and introducing these programs into the marketplace. · Prepares in coordination with Marketing/Communications provider videos, printed and other promotional materials.
