The department of Internal Medicine at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is seeking a Nocturnist Hospitalist. This position will consist of 13 overnight shifts per month.
The hospitalist is responsible for provision of direct care to hospitalized adult medical patients. The hospitalist also provides consultations in internal medicine for surgical and other subspecialty patients. This care is delivered in close coordination with nursing staff, care managers, and other physicians and hospital departments. The hospitalist must ensure high quality, effective patient care, timely hospital discharges, and excellent communication with PCPs, patients and families, and other healthcare personnel. The hospitalist will obtain proper consultations as needed and will coordinate the care of patients from admission through discharge including all transitions of care.
