Overview UF Health Leesburg Hospital has been serving the health care needs of our community for 58 years. The hospital offers advanced cardiac care including one of the largest cardiothoracic surgery programs in the state. The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI and Resuscitation — its highest and best level of accreditation. UF Health Leesburg Hospital also offers advanced orthopedic surgery, stroke care, emergency services as well as labor and delivery care. The hospital is part of UF Health Central Florida, a not-for-profit health care system and the largest most comprehensive provider of health care services in the region. UF Health Central Florida provides inpatient acute hospital services at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation services at UF Health Rehab Hospital – The Villages and diagnostic laboratory services at several locations. Responsibilities Responsible for developing, managing and tracking physician-based growth plans involving referral strategies, event activities and other applicable tactics. The Liaison is an integral part of the organization's strategic planning process through market analysis, service line strategic planning initiatives and the development of business plans. Collaborates with physicians, executives, and service line leaders in the identification and development of new and/or expanded providers or services. Qualifications Education:- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business required Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- 3-4 years of experience in Healthcare/Medical - Must be able to achieve results in a large, complex organization - Highly developed verbal, written, and analytical skills are necessary - Group facilitation and presentation skills needed - Must be able to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously - Self-motivation and the ability to perform with minimal supervision - Support UF Health Central Florida mission, vision, and values - Seeks low level of supervision/direction on projects -Has direct relationships with senior leadership, middle management, and physicians throughout the organization - Maintains a high level of responsibility -Knowledge of using a Medical Staff Development Plan to meet community needs for various medical specialties - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
