TidalHealth is seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician to join its team in Salisbury, MD. This role offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including teaching opportunities for residents through both clinical and didactic sessions. As a member of our physician-led, multi-specialty system, you'll collaborate with over 300 providers dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Diagnose and manage acute neurological conditions in critically ill patients, including administering critical care treatments and performing necessary procedures.

 

 

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

 

Teaching and Training: Engage in educational activities such as teaching residents and fellows, and participate in clinical research to advance the field of neurocritical care.

Procedural Expertise: Perform specialized procedures such as airway management, central venous catheterization, and management of mechanical ventilation. 

 

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree.

 

Training: Successful completion of a residency program in neurology, followed by a fellowship in neurocritical care.

 

Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a ICU environment.

The approved hiring range is minimum $430,000 and maximum $545,000.
