Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN physician interested in specializing in reproductive medicine/infertility at the Reproductive Medicine Institute located in Fargo, North Dakota. Our program is currently the only IVF program in the state of North Dakota.• Join our board certified reproductive endocrinologist and 2 nurse practitioner supported by well-trained staff.
• Practice is supported by over 75 referring providers throughout the state.
• Clinic responsibilities include a 4 day work week with new patient visits/ consultations. Primarily responsible for OI/TI, OI/IUI cycles, ultrasound coverage, in-office procedures and potential limited surgical opportunities.
• Call responsibilities would include 1 week and 1 weekend/month for after hour questions and hospital consultations (rare).
• Over 500 patients a month are seen with the number continuing to grow.
• Wonderful support is enjoyed by the practice from Sanford’s OB-GYNs, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Neonatology in the on-site Level IV NICU.

Gynecologic Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, consult and provide pre-, intra- and postoperative care necessary to correct or treat female patients of all ages presenting with injuries and disorders of the female reproductive system and the genitourinary system and nonsurgical treatment disorders and injuries of the mammary glands.Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree.Experience can be demonstrated in one of the following ways and should be reflective of the privileges being requested: An applicant who has just completed residency shall provide their residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations, as applicable. OR An applicant who is not applying directly out of a residency shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the last 12 months, including numbers of procedures morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications. The applicant must be able to demonstrate competence and adequate volumes of experience to include 50 deliveries (including 5 cesarean sections) and 25 gynecological surgical procedures (if applicable to privileges requested) in the last 12 months. More education and experience may be required the more advanced the practice becomes.
Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada. Training at residency programs accredited by organizations other than the above, may be considered via the waiver of eligibility process as defined in the Credentialing Policy. Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable. Those applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their residency training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement.
