About the Role: Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your experience inaddiction treatment to serve the unprivileged in our communities? If so, we have an immediate opening in anaddiction treatment center that just might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive care topatients with substance use disorders, develop personalized treatment plans,and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
· Conducting patient assessments toevaluate addiction severity, medical history, and co-occurring conditions,
· Developing personalized treatmentplans, providing counseling and education to patients and their familiesregarding addiction, recovery, and harm reduction, collaborate with otherhealthcare professionals to address holistic patient needs
· Prescribe medications (e.g., buprenorphine,naloxone) for opioid use disorder and manage medication-assisted treatment.
Qualifications:
Licensure: NY Physician (MD/DO) Licensure Certifications: DEA Experience: 1 year in a relevant field preferredSchedule:
