Job Title: Production Line Worker
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Line Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking products, assembling boxes, and handling materials on a conveyor line in a manufacturing plant environment. This is a contract-based position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

ResponsibilitiesPick and screen products to determine count on the conveyor line.Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs onto the conveyor belt.Walk up and down stairs to various levels of the facility.Assemble and repair damaged boxes.Communicate with team via walkie-talkie to request more products when needed.Utilize technology to identify pick areas to work on.Communicate with the warehouse when the line is finished.Carefully handle products to ensure quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience in order picking, pallet jack operation, and general labor.Ability to work on a pick line and handle material.Proficiency with RF scanners.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Experience in inventory management.Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles (spices), and motorized vehicles. There is a strong spice smell when entering the facility, which becomes less noticeable after about a week. We offer three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am.

This is a Contract position based out of Ankeny, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
