PICC line RN is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for the insertion, management, and maintenance of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC lines), which provide long-term intravenous access for patients requiring extended treatments like chemotherapy, antibiotics, or acute high risk medication administration. This role involves performing sterile catheter insertions, often utilizing ultrasound guidance, and monitoring patients for complications such as infection or clot formation. They collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and document all procedures and patient responses accurately. The position demands excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and troubleshoot any complications that may arise with the catheter.
Schedule: 3-12 hour day shifts 7a-730p including every other Saturday

ADN Pay Range: $32.31 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
